If adventures that have you bring a friend along to join the fun are your thing, Out of Words is going to make you very excited indeed. It’s quite unique in that its protagonists, Kurt and Karl, have had their mouths stolen, leaving them relying on each other to navigate the land of Vokabulantis.

However, they are far from helpless as they use their wits to make their way across catacombs, clay scyscrapers, and other detailed environments, all of which come to life with an art style that really lets its colors pop. It’s even more interesting thanks to its stop-motion animation style that lends it a very unique flavor.

With puzzles to solve, platforming sequences that test your skill, and environments that demand your undivided attention, this one is going to be a game to watch out for; its premise and world work well to present a cohesive experience.

With both couch co-op and online cross-platform multiplayer, this offering from WiredFly and Kong Orange is coming to the PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and the PlayStation 5 sometime in 2026.
