IO Interactive just released a new trailer for a free Starter Pack for 007 First Light, following the launch of a PlayStation Plus Deluxe and Premium trial yesterday.
The Starter Pack includes the first mission. If you’re curious, it’s the Prologue where Bond, as an aircrewman, is shot down and must sneak past hostiles, rescuing civilians in the process. Check out the first 13 minutes here. It may be enough to leave you eager for more, so we recommend clearing your schedule if you want to try the full game.
We don’t say that lightly since this is quite the impressive take on the evergreen, suave spy we all know and love. It isn’t just us who think so – about 4 million people agree, thanks to how well the game blends stealth, combat, and the freedom to chart your own course through its well-designed missions.
Now’s as good a time to dive in as there’s ever been, thanks to the addition of the 00 difficulty and New Game Plus. These can make even the most cunning spies among you stop to take stock of the situation instead of operating with the utter confidence and implacable determination that good old James is known for. As for Nintendo Switch 2 players, they can join the adventure on March 18th, 2027.
