Zenless Zone Zero brought some hot new information and a first look at its next major faction as part of The Game Awards 2025 ceremony. As part of the showcase, we got a glimpse of Ye Shunguang and Zhao – two upcoming Agents.
The segment also teased the new Angels of Delusion faction, though details on that are slim.
The gameplay reveal for Ye Shunguang and Zhao was very much the highlight of what was ultimately a smaller segment. Ye Shunguang is Zenless Zone Zero’s first dual-form Agent. She’s a Void Hunter who hails from Yunkui Summit.
Shunguang is a master swordswoman, and she can shift between two different forms. Her combat looks smooth and stylish, with a lot of aerial attacks and fast sword play. Zhao should be familiar to anyone who plays ZZZ. The rabbit Thiren has a bit of a slippery playstyle, quickly weaving across the battlefield to deliver attacks with her greataxe.

Before the trailer ends, we get the Angels of Delusion teaser, which didn’t offer much, but it’s certainly something for us to look forward to in the new year. In case you missed it, Zenless Zone Zero’s latest update – Version 2.4 – is live, having arrived over two weeks ago.
As ever, make sure to check out our updated Zenless Zone Zero codes if you plan to jump in over the next few weeks. Currently, ZZZ V2.4 is expected to run on a slightly truncated five-week schedule, with Version 2.5 now anticipated on December 30.
