If you’re in the market for a budget gaming monitor that doesn’t compromise on everything, this Asus gaming monitor deal is for you. With a massive 36% discount, the Asus TUF Gaming VG249QL3A is at its lowest ever price right now, dropping to just $109. Sporting a 180Hz refresh rate and including Asus’ Extreme Low Motion Blur technology, this IPS LCD display is a great choice for the price.

Sure, we’d all love to indulge in one of the best gaming monitors you can buy, with an OLED panel, 4k resolution, and 360Hz refresh rate. However, if money’s tight, this Asus option is one of the best all-rounder bargains we’ve seen for a long time.

As you’d expect, there are some areas where it’s relatively modest. It’s only a 24-inch panel, and its resolution is only 1080p. However, that’s all you need to have a great time playing social and competitive games like Fortnite, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, and much more.

Beyond that, with a refresh rate of 180Hz, this display moves along at a quick enough pace to ensure it feels smooth and responsive for playing the best FPS games and other types of fast-paced games. Likewise, its 1ms response time should mean the display isn’t affected dramatically by ghosting.

This is an LCD display, so it can’t claim to compete with the ultra-fast response time and incredible contrast of an OLED panel, but it is a Fast IPS panel. The Fast part means it has a quicker response time than many older LCD panels, while the fact that it’s IPS means you get great viewing angles and reliable color reproduction.

What really sets this display apart, though, is its extras. For a start, it has a fully adjustable stand, so you can set its height, pivot the panel into a portrait mode, and, of course, tilt it to the best viewing angle for your needs. It also includes speakers, as well as a DisplayPort and two HDMI video inputs, and a headphone jack.

Crucially, it also supports AMD Freesync and is Nvidia G-Sync compatible, so it can offer smooth, stutter-free gameplay with no image tearing on both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. As for Asus’ Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) tech, this flashes the backlight on and off in sync with the monitor’s refresh rate to reduce the visibility of motion blur. It really does work for further improving the responsive feel of the display, which is ideal for times when you really want to get every competitive advantage on a budget display like this.

Normally priced at just shy of $190, this display has more recently hovered around the $160 mark. However, today it’s just $109, making it cheaper than ever before, and one of the cheapest displays of its type that you can buy. Just head on over to Amazon via this link to grab this deal.
