The Precipice of Truth Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert requires expert flying skills and even better aim. The latter is important as this sky island is guarded by aggressive stone orbs with laser guns, and getting hit while airborne is no fun. Of course, a shiny abyss artifact shall be yours… If you successfully avoid damage and restore balance to this daunting Abyss.
This Crimson Desert Precipice of Truth Abyss puzzle walkthrough will show you the way.
Update (March 23): The method to unlock the skybridge at the end of the Precipice of Truth has been added.
How to reach the Precipice of Truth Abyss in Crimson Desert
There are two ways to reach the Precipice of Truth, the fourth Abyss sky island in Crimson Desert. The usual way is by solving the previous Abyss challenge, Root’s End, and taking the skybridge from there. Use Axiom Force on the stone pillar behind the skybridge and rotate it until you see sparks, then jump across the moving platforms as you’ve done before. The small circular portal at the end of the path will transport you to the Precipice of Truth.
The other option doesn’t require you to solve Root’s End first. If you have a fairly high stamina (about half a white circle) as well as the Swift Flight upgrade, you should be able to glide over from the northeast edge of Root’s End directly.
How to solve the Precipice of Truth puzzle in Crimson Desert
After landing on Precipice of Truth, jump across the three floating pillars — you can use precision jumps to avoid falling. Beware of the laser-shooting orb around the corner; hit it with Axiom Force to destroy it and obtain an egg-shaped energy stone.
Use Axiom Force to move the energy stone to the small stone pillar; this will unseal the nook with the blue energy crystal inside. Take the blue energy crystal, move it near the empty socket on the northeast edge of the island, and use Force Palm to secure it. Now you can use the upward wind current on the circular platform to reach the larger island above you (see the top right arrow in the picture below).
Before you get on the moving platform, beware that another laser orb will aim for you as soon as you step on it, so be ready to hit it with Axiom Force. This will get you another energy stone, which you should place on the stone pillar on the platform above you.
Grab the square energy stone from the nook you just unsealed and drag it into the empty square socket to the left. Climb onto the square stone and use Force Palm to secure it, but be ready to use Flight as Force Palm will launch you backwards into the air.
A new wind current will activate on the left side of the square socket. Use it to fly upward, toward a second (still empty) square socket. From there, follow the path up until you see the third and final laser orb ahead of you. Use Axiom Force like before and take back the energy stone.
Do the same thing as before; place the energy stone on the pillar to open the sealed nook, grab the energy square and place it against the square socket, then use Force Palm on the square.
Behind you, two new fans will help you reach the large circular device on the higher wall. Cling to the center of the device and use Force Palm; once that’s done, Crimson Desert‘s Precipice of Truth puzzle is complete, and you can climb up to grab the abyss artifact.
To reach the top of the Precipice of Truth island, you can jump up the platforms behind the abyss artifact, where you will find the island’s skybridge.
If you cannot activate the abyss gate at the top of the Precipice of Truth, keep in mind that you’ll have to solve the three connected Abyss puzzles in the area: Root’s End, the Precipice of Truth, and Roots of Truth, which is unlocked through the Spire of Insight.
