The Arc Raiders “Movie Night” quest, much like “The League,” gives an insight into what the folks of Speranza get up to during their downtime. For this quest, you need to obtain both a stack of VHS tapes and a portable TV, then return them both to Apollo. The VHS tapes are easier to get because they’re in a set location, the portable TV… not so much.

Here’s how to complete “Movie Night” in Arc Raiders.

‘Movie Night’ quest steps in Arc Raiders

Here are the three quest steps for “Movie Night” in Arc Raiders:

  1. Deliver a portable TV to Apollo
  2. On Stella Montis, search the Cultural Archives for old movie tapes
  3. Deliver the stack of movie tapes to Apollo

Here’s exactly where you need to go to find the movie tapes, and where to hunt for a portable TV.

Portable TVs are considered to be a residential item, which means you’re likely to find them by looting in any of the following locations:

  • Dam Battlegrounds

    • Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, Pattern House
  • Buried City

    • Grandioso Apartments, Santa Maria Houses, Red Tower, Buried Properties, Plaza Rosa
  • Blue Gate

    • Village, Raider’s Refuge, Ruined Homestead

We found ours in Village on Blue Gate, which is by far the biggest residential looting zone in the game, so if you can get there near the start of a match, you’ll stand the best chance.

However, you also need to grab the movie tapes from Stella Montis, infamously the most difficult map in the game and also where new quests “On Deaf Ears” and “With A View” take place.

The Cultural Archives are a high-tier loot zone in the southeast corner of the upper floor on Stella Montis, located directly above the Eastern Tunnel and south of the Business Center. The spot you’re looking for is in the very southwest corner of the location, almost touching the wall that borders the Atrium.

Under a sheet, there’s a chest of drawers where the prompt “search for VHS tapes” will appear. Interact with it, pick up the tapes, then ideally put them in your safe pocket to ensure you can bring them back to Apollo without issue. If you’re running a free loadout, hightail it to the nearest extraction point, which will be the Seed Vault Airshaft on the floor below.

Take both items to Apollo and congratulations, quest complete! Check out our guides on “A Prime Specimen” and “Combat Recon” for more help with Arc Raiders quests.
