Home plots in Heartopia are required to increase the space where you are allowed to place structures and items you build. Since this game is all about crafting new items and placing them inside or outside your house, home plots are one of the most important features in the game, and because of this, quite rare too.
When you begin working on your new home, you will have only two home slots, but as you unlock more, you can expand the rooms or create larger crop areas. You just need the right materials (some you might obtain redeeming Heartopia codes!) — and more home plots! To assist you in building your dream house, we put this guide together explaining how to unlock more home plots in Heartopia.
How to unlock more home plots in Heartopia
To have more house plots to build on in Heartopia, you must first unlock them and then pay some gold to use them.
The only way to unlock new home plots involves your D.G. Member level. In Heartopia, as you complete daily requests, you earn Contribution Medals, which you use to unlock new D.G. Member levels in the D.G. Member’s Guild app in the Watch menu.
Since there is a daily request limit, you will have to wait to obtain enough Contribution Metals to reach max D.G. Member level. But once you have enough to rank up, go to the D.G. Member’s Guild app and press the “Unlock” button in the bottom-right corner to claim the rewards.
As of now, the D.G. Member level cap is 13, and here are the levels you must have to unlock extra home plots:
- Level 4: unlocks two home plots
- Level 6: unlocks one home plot
- Level 8: unlocks one home plot
- Level 11: unlocks one home plot
To truly unlock the home plots and start building on them, you must access the D.G. Member’s Guild app in the Watch menu and press the four-square icon in the top-right corner of the screen to access the Plot Management screen. If playing on Windows PC, you can access it by pressing E on the keyboard.
On this screen, you can see the number of plots you have unlocked, their size, the type of items that can be placed on them, and their requirements. If you can unlock a plot, its lock will be shaking and, by clicking on it, you can choose to pay a certain amount of gold to unlock it. For example, the first plot costs 100 gold, while the next one costs 4,000.
