Seven seriously special Steam Deck games can be yours right now for just $15 as part of this month’s Humble Choice subscription. From the beautiful, hand-drawn, 2D action-platformer of Nine Sols to the epic Japanese action adventure of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, this bundle is packed with titles that are not just great in their own right, but play superbly on Steam Deck.

The Steam Deck still sits supreme as the best handheld gaming PC, despite growing competition from big-name players like the Xbox Ally X and big-power alternatives like the stupendously powerful Ayaneo Next 2. As such, a Steam Deck Verified or Playable rating remains the hallmark of a game that will offer a great experience on a handheld, and this bundle includes seven titles out of eight that achieve this status, making it an incredible-value way to bolster your portable gaming library.

The way Humble Choice works is that you sign up to a monthly subscription of $14.99 / £11.49 and immediately get access to that month’s list of eight games. This month, the Humble Choice December list has a total combined value on Steam of $196.92, so you’re getting great value right off the bat.

However, the best bit is that not only do you get a brand new list of eight games each month, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. That means you can sign up now, claim these games – keeping them forever – and unsubscribe straight away. To grab your subscription, click on this link here.

Here are the Humble Choice games for December 2025:

• Nine Sols – Steam Deck Verified
• Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name – Steam Deck Verified
• Streets of Rage 4 – Steam Deck Verified
• Lost Skies – Unsupported
• Intravenous II – Steam Deck Playable
• Dungeon Tycoon – Steam Deck Playable
• Beholder Conductor – Steam Deck Verified
• Godlike Burger – Steam Deck Verified

Nine Sols is definitely the standout in this lineup. Not only is its art style absolutely gorgeous and its music utterly captivating, but the 2D action platforming gameplay lends itself superbly to playing on the Steam Deck. Its relatively simple graphics also put a modest load on the Deck’s GPU, meaning you can crank up the resolution and enjoy decently-long play sessions.

At the other end of the spectrum is Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. While it’s no Cyberpunk 2077 or Black Myth: Wukong in terms of graphics, this is a more challenging title to run on the Steam Deck. However, its third-person-fighting-focused gameplay works great on a handheld, and this madcap Yakuza adventure is a lot of fun.

How can we list the highlights of this bundle without also mentioning Streets of Rage 4. The fourth installment in this legendary side-scrolling beat’em up brings a pumping ’80s synth soundtrack, hand-drawn cartoonish visuals, and brilliant combat – it’s easily one of the best Steam Deck games around.

In fact, the hits keep on coming with this month’s Humble Choice bundle, as Intravenous II, Dungeon Tycoon, Beholder Conductor, and Godlike Burger are all easy-to-run titles that are just perfect for playing on a handheld.

The only non-Steam Deck-compatible title is Lost Skies. Technically, the game runs, but its controller support doesn’t play well with the Steam Deck, nor does its save game system. You can mostly get around these issues by playing with a keyboard and mouse, though.
