Cheap is rarely the first word that comes to mind when thinking about Secretlab, with its premium gaming chairs and desks being more of an investment than a spontaneous purchase. Fortunately, there’s never been a better time to buy, as Spring Sale discounts across the Titan Evo and Magnus Pro send prices plummeting, saving you up to $129 / £94.
Our current pick for the best gaming chair, the Titan Evo is already hard to beat, with its price being our only real reservation. With up to $100 / £100 off during the festivities, it shrugs off all criticisms, becoming the indisputable throne I’d recommend to anyone in the market for a new perch. Our review found the Titan Evo’s magnetic headrest cushion to be a comfort revelation, while swappable armrests and three available sizes make it one of the most versatile options on the market.
There is also a butt-load of different designs to choose from, starting with leatherette and fabric materials, and ending with Special Edition colorways spotlighting Star Wars, Pokémon, Genshin Impact, Cyberpunk 2077, and many more. My personal favorite is probably the Monster Hunter Wilds variant, with its almost regal aesthetic.
If you already own a Titan Evo and just want a fresh look, the sale also includes up to 30% off skins depending on your region. Sam found it to be the best way to give your seat a new look while also offering a small comfort boost, made all the better when you save a few pennies in the process.
The biggest saving in the US comes when grabbing one of Secretlab’s desks. The Magnus Pro is down by up to $129 / £94, with the standard Magnus not far behind at up to $90 / £50 off. Both are worth every cent, but the Pros’ sit-to-stand mechanism includes an integrated power column that runs a single cable down the leg, making it worth the extra.
Speaking from experience, I own two Magnus desks myself: the standard one to support my testbench, and the Pro in my main setup. Like many doe-eyed idealists, the standing function went unused for a long while because it’s not really suited to gaming, but now I’m in my 30s and in dire need of exercise, it’s the perfect companion to stick a walking pad underneath and get some steps in while working. As our Magnus Pro review mentions, it’s one of the best gaming desks on the market.
Both models also support a wide variety of magnetic accessories. My test bench has a bespoke white Magpad desk mat to make photographs a little more punchy. Meanwhile, I’ve got my soundbar elevated on the monitor stand above my mixer in my main setup, with Secretlab’s own dual monitor arms keeping the screens exactly where I need them. I did experiment with the under-desk PC mount briefly, but came to the conclusion I preferred my system on display for the world to see.
You’ve only got until March 31 in the US and Canada, and April 10 in the UK, before Secretlab’s Spring Sale comes to an end. As always with these kinds of extravaganzas, it’s also while stocks last, so don’t hang around if you’ve got your heart set on something special.
