Sometimes you get a sequel that you didn’t ask for — but you aren’t totally upset when it arrives.
Such may be the case for Fallen Sword II, a newly announced multiplayer title that’s billing itself as a “spiritual successor” to studio Haunted Cow Games’ original browser MMORPG that came out in 2006. This title looks a little scaled down in scope, becoming a turn-based RPG with a card game-like combat system.
There are six announced classes — Warrior, Mage, Rogue, Guardian, Cleric, and Ranger — and talk of guilds and “large-scale battles.” The studio is allowing old Fallen Sword players the ability to reserve their name from the first game to use in the second as the countdown progresses toward the launch window of Q3 2026.
