The best Shadow SK loadout in Black Ops 7 is a must if you want to quickscope, because this semi-automatic sniper rifle is perfectly suited to it, despite having the lowest base damage stat of the three snipers available. These days, sniper rifles in Call of Duty don’t follow the same theory as their real life versions, which means you want to match the pace of the game rather than setting up shop somewhere and picking enemies off slowly.
So for this, you want attachments that improve the handling and accuracy first and foremost, so you can flick from one target to the next with ease, and not have to worry about how long it takes to aim down the scope. Also, you unlock the Shadow SK at level 13, so practically from the very start due to how quick leveling up is in Call of Duty, and it’s one of the best guns in Black Ops 7. Here’s the best Shadow SK loadout in Black Ops 7 for quickscoping.
Best Shadow SK loadout in Black Ops 7
Here’s the best Shadow SK loadout in Black Ops 7:
- Muzzle: Eclipse 7.62 Brake
- Barrel: 17″ Thrust Barrel
- Magazine: Rapid Gulf Fast Mag
- Comb: Parapet Riser
- Rear Grip: E-3 Billet Skeleton
- Stock: Friction Stock
- Laser: 5mW Lockstep
- Fire Mods: LW Trigger
Build code: R02-EB5UC-9BD11
As you can see, we’re rocking Gunfighter here once again, mostly because enabling a quickscoping playstyle with a dedicated sniper rifle needs as many attachments as you can get. Firstly, we have a whole bunch of attachments dedicated to handling: the barrel, magazine, and rear grip all buff stats such as the aim down sight speed, sprint to fire speed, and reload quickness. Which are all vital when you’re basically treating this gun like a shotgun, one-shotting enemies as you fling around corners.
The muzzle and comb attachments are all about recoil management, because the last thing you want is to miss a shot and have your aim flung off so far it takes too long to reset. Then, the laser keeps you accurate when going from hipfire to aiming down the sights, and even though the laser is visible when aiming down the sights, you’re only going to be doing that when you’re actually shooting with this gun so it doesn’t make much of a difference. And don’t forget about the stock, which simply adds plenty of flinch resistance.
Finally, we have the LW Trigger fire mod, which vastly improves the fire rate, which is so important for this playstyle. However, the caveat is that it does negatively impact both the horizontal and vertical recoil, so if that’s a dealbreaker, swap it for the Buffer Spring instead.
Best Shadow SK class in Black Ops 7
Here’s the best class to use with the Shadow SK in Black Ops 7:
- Wildcard: Gunfighter
- Pistol: Coda 9
- Melee: Knife
- Field Upgrade: Mute Field
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Lethal: Combat Axe
- Perk 1: Lightweight
- Perk 2: Vigilance
- Perk 3: Dexterity
- Specialty: Scout
As mentioned above, we’re rocking the Gunfighter wildcard to enable three extra attachments, then we’re rocking the Coda 9 pistol as this fully automatic sidearm will shred enemies up close when you miss your shots with the Shadow SK.
The Mute Field is a great field upgrade when playing with a fast-paced build because it enables Ninja, Ghost, and Cold-Blooded for a short period, which can be extended by getting more kills. This gives you more flexibility on the perk front. The Stim Shot is a massive help to keep you alive for longer, and the Combat Axe is another great backup when you miss your sniper shots.
For the perks, we’ve gone for Lightweight for the additional movement speed, then Vigilance making you immune to Counter UAVs and Scrambler is big, not to mention the increased minimap area as you’ll be relying on the map to see where the enemies are spawning. Finally, Dexterity means you can stay more accurate when moving, and you take less fall damage. All of these grant the Scout specialty, meaning you stay hidden from enemy minimaps for five seconds after every bullet kill.
