The best Kogot-7 loadout in Black Ops 7 channels a fan favorite weapon seen throughout the Call of Duty series, and while this is a brand new name for it, it’s essentially just the MP7. Which is to say it’s a mobile, fast-firing, SMG that can also compete at range thanks to how much damage it deals.
In fact, it’s one of the best guns in Black Ops 7 already, as long as you kit it out with the right attachments. However, you’ll need to manage the recoil, which is what our build aims to do while also enabling a lot of close quarters combat via hipfiring.
Here’s the best Kogot-7 loadout in Black Ops 7 and how to unlock the gun in Season 1.
How to unlock the Kogot-7 in Black Ops 7 Season 1
To unlock the Kogot-7 in Black Ops 7 Season 1, you must complete page three of the battle pass. You only need to spend seven tokens to unlock page three, with another six to complete the page, making for 13 battle pass tokens in total. This is considerably fewer than the Maddox RFB, which you can’t unlock until page six.
Best Kogot-7 loadout in Black Ops 7
Here’s the best Kogot-7 loadout in Black Ops 7:
- Muzzle: Hawker Ported Compensator
- Barrel: 13.5″ Canis-05 Barrel
- Underbarrel: EAM Lightpath Foregrip
- Magazine: Caper Speed Mag
- Rear Grip: EMT3 Vulpine Grip
- Stock: F7-Howl Stock
- Laser: Convergence Box Laser
- Fire Mods: Buffer Spring
Build code: S10-8Y83Z-S1Y31
As usual with most of our loadouts, we’re rocking the Gunfighter wildcard because the ability to use eight attachments is unmatched. If you want to run with something else, opt for Perk Greed instead, and remove the barrel, rear grip, and stock attachments from this list. This will mean your build will solely be focused on close quarters combat and hip-firing, but you can also equip perks such as Lightweight, Flak Jacket, and Tech Mask that will enable that type of playstyle.
This build may look confusing with half of the attachments focusing on mobility while the others focus on recoil, but it’s intentional, because it turns it into a great all-rounder. The muzzle, underbarrel, magazine, stock, and laser mods are all about that fast movement, dropping enemies up close sort of approach, with significant buffs to hipfire spread and movement speed.
Meanwhile, the barrel, rear grip, and fire mods are focused on recoil stabilization and damage range. This doesn’t detract from the build’s ability to compete up close, but does mean you can hang with the longer range weapons on bigger maps.
Best Kogot-7 class in Black Ops 7
Here’s the best class to use with the Kogot-7 in Black Ops 7:
- Wildcard: Gunfighter
- Pistol: Coda 9
- Melee: Knife
- Field Upgrade: Mute Field
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Lethal: Combat Axe
- Perk 1: Lightweight
- Perk 2: Scavenger
- Perk 3: Dexterity
- Specialty: Enforcer
The whole idea with this build is to mostly get up close and personal, but still be able to deal with long-range scenarios. We’ve opted for the Coda 9 automatic pistol so you can switch to it when you run out of ammo and melt enemies, and the Mute Field enhances your ability to sprint through the map unnoticed.
Using the Stim Shot is huge here because it keeps you alive and means you can jump straight back into gunfights without needing to wait for your health to regenerate, and the Combat Axe is a great tool to lob at someone when you need to reload.
On the perk front, we’re going with three reds for the Enforcer specialty, which grants you a movement speed and health regen buff every time you get a kill. Lightweight is a no-brainer for that extra movement speed too, and Scavenger will stop you from needing to replace your gun whenever you go on a kill streak. Finally, Dexterity enhances your mobility, but you can replace it with Bankroll if you’d rather acquire scorestreaks quicker.
Want to check out some of our other loadouts? The Dravec 45 is a great SMG that specializes more at range, while the M8A1 battle rifle from Black Ops 2 is a fantastic choice if you want a slower playstyle.
