Want Moon Knight season 2? Well, you're probably not getting it, so I guess you just shouldn't trust Marvel's post credits scenes any more

Regardless of clearly setting issues up for one, it seems like Marvel’s Moon Knight will not get a season 2 any time quickly.

Moon Knight, like just about each single Marvel undertaking underneath the solar, ended with a put up credit scene, notably introducing Jake Lockley, one of many titular character’s system members that had seemingly been teased all through the primary season. It was an apparent setup for a second season, besides in a current interview Marvel Tv head Brad Winderbaum has basically confirmed that one is not going to occur.

Chatting with Comicbook.com, Winderbaum defined, “So, I feel Marvel Tv has occurred in waves, and I feel Moon Knight occurred in a wave of reveals that had been going to ascertain characters that may tie-in to the longer term. “And transferring ahead our priorities have shifted. We’re making reveals as reveals that may exist as annual releases, extra like tv. I might like to see a Moon Knight season 2, however there are plans for Moon Knight down the street.”

Moon Knight is but to make a correct look in one other MCU undertaking for the reason that first season aired in 2022, although Oscar Isaac did reprise the position in voice over type for the final season of Marvel’s What If…? final yr. Clearly Winderbaum famous that Marvel has plans for Moon Knight, however actually at this level you must surprise why they’re nonetheless bothering with put up credit scenes in any respect when so a lot of them simply have not had a follow-up of any type.

It is clearly massively backfired for them with the Kang setups that they’ve since deserted attributable to actor Jonathon Majors’ conviction, and even with movies just like the Eternals that arrange Blade have confirmed to be a large number too. Maybe it is time to retire the put up credit scene earlier than it is too late (regardless that arguably it already is).
