Dystopian survival shooter Into the Radius 2 launches on PlayStation VR2 on September 24, but if you are looking to play with a friend, you have to wait for co-op support to be added later.
Developer CM Immersive announced the release date on the PlayStation Blog and detailed how this version of the game takes advantage of the features of Sony’s headsets. Into the Radius 2 will run at a native 90fps with eye-tracked dynamic foveated rendering to boost performance. It also has headset haptics and utilizes the Sense controllers’ adaptive triggers.
That said, the game will not support co-op gameplay at launch. That is planned for a free update in Q4 2026.
This news comes on the heels of last week’s confirmation that the Quest 3 version of the game will leave Early Access later this week on August 27. Following the 1.0 update on the original SteamVR edition in April, CM Immersive is moving quickly to expand the full experience to other platforms.

Into The Radius 2’s PC VR full release is available now – and CM Immersive is already planning its future updates.
As far as future updates, when the game left Steam Early Access, CMI stated it did not plan to add new locations or content expansions, instead focusing on more features like mod support and localization for non-English languages.
