Arc System Works has accelerated the rate at which it’s revealing new Character Guides for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, likely to get ahead of the open beta’s launch. It’s showcased Blade of the Samurai Outrunners, Black Panther from the Fighting Avengers and Danger of the Unbreakable X-Men. Check out all three trailers below.

Blade’s unique skill relies on Heart Seeker, a stake embedded into an opponent that empowers his next skill. He can also unsheathe Muramasa for heavy damage and empower the next two skill attacks. Of course, there’s an array of other weapons to rely on, from a glaive that hits multiple times and returns to a submachine gun.

Shuri, the newest Black Panther, relies on Bast’s Blessing, which allows for immediately following up after most skills. When she activates the Heart-Shaped Herb, her Skill Gauge is converted into Bast’s Blessing for a quick and lethal array of follow-ups.

Finally, Danger has her Calibrate drones, which interact with her beams and missiles in various ways, perfect for set-ups. She can also teleport to any of them or perform fake-outs to keep an opponent guessing. Fans of Gurren Lagann, take note of her Tōkon Assemble as well.

As with all of the revealed characters thus far, Blade, Black Panther and Danger will be playable during the open beta from July 24th to 26th. Head here for more details. There will also be a special panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where we could learn more about the Year 1 DLC characters, so stay tuned.
