Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Overview Trailer Details A New Mode and Features Ahead of Launch

It’s going to be hard to divide our time between two of our favorite animated works, which are now very potent fighting games. Invincible VS has done well to keep us on our toes for the most part, but we’ve been quite enthusiastic about diving into Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game ever since we first heard about it last year.

The time has certainly flown by, and if you’re excited to dive into this one, you’ll be very interested in the new overview trailer for its different modes and features. The offline options include a Story Mode, Arcade Mode, a Gallery, Training for the basics and advanced Combo Trials to help you get up to speed with the game’s mechanics. Regardless of whether you’re new or a veteran, those combos look like they require precise timing. Knowing that they’re possible is reason enough for us to spend several hours in Training to ensure they become muscle memory.

That should give you the guts to head on over to online multiplayer, where Casual and Ranked options await. Rollback netcode ensures that each fight runs smoothly enough to ensure each victory or defeat depends on your skills. That part was quite evident after a look at its closed beta, though.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game launches on July 23rd for Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PC. We think our review should be your next port of call if this one has piqued your interest.
