The journey from being a rather talented nobody to becoming one of MI6’s most legendary operatives isn’t an easy one, and even James Bond is going to need a bit of guidance from a more seasoned hand in the adventure that tracks his rise to infamy in 007 First Light.

Thankfully, the latest character showcase has introduced John Greenway to the table to play exactly that role for our young(er) hero. Played by Lenny James, who you might know from The Walking Dead or as the voice of Lord Shaxx in Destiny and its sequel, Greenway balances out Bond’s brash nature with his serene personality. However, that belies a keenly strategic mind and a penchant for tactical flair that could make him the perfect mentor to a reckless operative (provided James doesn’t flunk out).

We can’t wait to see more of his interactions with Bond, as the two men are sure to have their differences over the course of the story. The showcase trailer is below if you want to see Greenway in action for yourself. We’ve also got a complete list of important details about this one in case you’re thinking about picking up a copy on May 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
