With just one mod slot available to you at the start of Pragmata, you will be hard pressed to make a tactical decision on exactly which one to equip for combat encounters. Fortunately, you do eventually gain additional mod slots as you slowly progress through the story.
This guide for Pragmata is all about upgrading the number of slots you use for mods.
Unlock The Shelter
A safe haven for Hugh and Diana, this hub location unlocks immediately after the prologue. Once inside, make your way to the Unit Printer terminal which is where you craft or upgrade equipment.

The majority of options will be unavailable initially, and you will also require a fair amount of Lunafilament or Pure Lunum in order to perform upgrades, which includes everything from weapons and abilities to nodes and mods.
Mod Slot upgrades in particular, will eventually be found under the Attachments tab, which begins with only the Repair Up and Thrusters upgrades available.
‘Additional Mod Slots’ can be maxed out at level four, with each adding one more slot for a cumulative total of five. The option itself will only unlock as you raise the level of your Shelter, so simply progress through the game normally until the blueprints become available.
