Razer's new Niko collection is surely the most desirable selection of CS2 gear around

The Razer NiKo Collection just dropped, and it has to be one of the most desirable sets of gaming peripherals I’ve ever seen. Not only is it a great-looking set, co-designed by pro CS2 player Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač, but it’s also some of the most capable gaming gear you can buy.

Razer has pulled out all the stops on the hardware front for this collection. Grab the full selection, and you’ll be equipping yourself with what I consider the best gaming headset and one of the best gaming mouse options you can buy right now. The keyboard and mouse mat are great options, too.

The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro NiKo Edition leads the charge. Packing in Razer’s latest sensor and wireless tech, including offering up to 8kHz polling rate over wireless, I found this to be the best ergonomic gaming mouse you can buy when testing it for my Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro review. If you prefer a symmetrical-style mouse and you’re loyal to Razer, you might want to wait for the rumored Razer Viper V4 Pro instead, but otherwise, this is a legitimately excellent rodent.

Then there’s the Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 8KHz NiKo Edition keyboard. One of the best gaming keyboards around, it is incredibly fast, thanks to an 8kHz polling rate. It also includes analog keys, allowing for features such as Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap. When we tested the non-8kHz version in our Razer Huntsman V3 Pro review, it was already very impressive, but now the addition of 8kHz ensures it has a truly lightning-fast response too.

As for the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro, this is the ultimate headset for competitive gaming. It’s comfortable, offers great sound quality, and its controls are really easy to use, even during the heat of battle. Its fantastic game-tuned sound profiles also work brilliantly for dozens of different games. I concluded my Razer BlackShark V3 Pro review by simply saying, “Razer has done it again, with the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro proving to be our new favorite gaming headset,” and that’s still true today.

Finishing up this collection is the Razer Gigantus V2 Pro mouse mat, which might not offer the glamorous high-speed numbers of a mouse or keyboard, but it’s a great surface for any gaming mouse.

So, this is an epic selection of gaming gear, but what really brings it all together is that it looks so good, too. The grayscale flame effect that adorns the rear of the mouse, the bottom edge of the mouse mat, the bottom edge of the keyboard and its wrist rest, and the earcups of the headset looks fantastic. Sure, it’s a bit ’90s gray camo cargo pants, but the mouse in particular looks ace.

I also have a soft spot for Razer’s esports green, Pokémon, and Dragon Lore collections, but there’s a balance of simplicity and interest in this collection that really appeals.

As you’d expect, the new collection comes with a slight premium over the standard colorways of this gear, such as the mouse requiring an extra $20, so there’s no pretending this is the gaming peripheral bargain of the year. Indeed, the whole collection will set you back an eye-watering $779.96.

However, if you want proven CS2 professional-certified gear and a fun look, you might be happy to pay the premium, even if there are no guarantees it’ll improve your aim. Check out Razer’s website for the full collection.
