WWE 2K26 Launches on March 13th With CM Punk as the Cover Star

As rumored earlier this week, WWE 2K26 is officially confirmed to launch on March 13th. It will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, and who should be the cover star but the current World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk? It marks the second time that he’s graced a WWE video game cover since 2K13.

Unsurprisingly, he’s also the focus of the new 2K Showcase, “Punked,” which covers the most important matches from his career. He’ll also engage in Fantasy Warfare, taking on different WWE Legends, which sounds like the perfect opportunity for that long-overdue match against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

Alongside Punk, there are more than 400 playable wrestlers, which include newcomers like Blake Monroe and Ray Fenix. New match types also abound, from Three Stages of Hell to Inferno, I Quit and even Dumpster matches. In terms of gameplay, the reversals and stamina system have been revamped, and there are even more weapons to use.

In addition to the Standard Edition for $69.99, you also have three special editions that offer seven days of early access: King of Kings Edition for $99.99, the Attitude Era Edition for $129.99 and the Monday Night War Edition for $149.99. The last one is especially notable because it provides access to Wrestlemania 42 arena, among other goodies.
