Who’s ready to read about an upcoming MMORPG that promises active skill-based combat, lots of PvE and PvP activities, and “constant progression” along the way? Well, ideally you are because you clicked on the headline about Warvox, a game from Iconix Game Studio that is angling to make all of those things happen.
“Whether you’re searching for open-world games on PC, competitive action, or a brand-new MMO universe to grow with, Warvox offers a blend of challenge, adventure, and constant progression. The world is shaped by ancient factions, variety of skills & weapons, dangerous creatures, thrilling dungeons and evolving storylines—making the Warvox game a universe where every battle and every choice matters.”
Warvox looks to provide a little bit of everything, including PvE content in the form of world exploration and dungeon delving with monsters to battle, PvP content including 1v1 battles and arena fights, and a battle royale mode that merges MMORPG abilities and survival gameplay. The game also leans heavily into an active combat model that rewards skill, movement, and timing.
This upcoming MMORPG is looking to begin early access sometime soon by way of an area known as Trial Island, where players will be able to test Warvox out and provide their feedback. Timing for this release isn’t specified, but early access is projected for about two months. The Steam page also confirms that AI generated artwork is used, but only for promotional art and not for any in-game assets.
